Chimay Bleue is the strongest beer of this brewery. The aroma of fresh yeast is carried by an aromatic intense body, with a floral gentle aroma on the nose. The taste is slightly peppery with pleasant roasted notes from the malt, cocoa and an almost port-like character are found in Chimay Bleue. It is the classic Chimay beer. Traditionally re-fermented in the bottle, this beer continues to age beautifully at cellar temperatures for years to come.
